The time travels fast. I am here in my own country for more than two weeks and it is time to go back to Delft on 14th. I have been browsing through the development of salt 'n' Coffee and needless to say how much pleasing to know about floor mates across seven seas. Delft, when I left was almost in a paradise enviornment, something not common with Dutch weather.
Back in India, it is hot hot hot. With temperature rising above 35 degree centigrade, it is not an easy place to live. And back from pleasent enviornment of Delft, it is even harder. Then the train journey from Mumbai to my small village, Kadegaon in the south west India describes me a view of humble begining that I came from. There was a such pride of achievement generated in me when I remember back some hard times. My father, a simple person who has not yet crossed the bounderies of our provinance is very happy when I tell him about the people from distant lands. And it is equally difficult to my family to understand the boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. According to them, if you are in love you should get married irrespective of economical or age related issues. As simple as it could get. They asked me how does it fill when the flight takes off, how does it fill when the first particles of ice touches your face, how does it fill to be there with the students of different countries. I have mostly educated and entertained them with those amusing yet true stories from the west. I told them about the system of canals, waters, big churches and tall dutch people. I told them and showed some of my photos from Marcushof (sober ones, mind you).
The time has come to go back Delft and resume the research. The place of Marcushof seems inviting.
